We recently began our classes in our Community Partnership with the High School of Fashion Industries for the 2016-17 school year! This year we’ve asked our students in the Photo II level class to share the work of photographers they’re interested in, inspired by, or excited to learn more about.
Our first post is by student Taliyah Cooper on photographer Jacob Riis:
Jacob Riis communicates what it was like living during the industrial era and sheds light on the problems that impacted daily living for people through his photographs. Even though his photographs were not always reliable, I still liked the way the pictures were organized so others can be aware and try to make changes.
