We are off to an amazing start this year in our ICP Photography 2 Class at the High School of Fashion Industries.
This year, we are each developing a personal vision project.
Sarah is photographing her High School friends to capture the emotions of being in their last year of high school.
Nataliya is photographing movement on film because it is interesting to capture the speeding of a car or a person walking, falling or talking. She experimented with this theme using digital photography and is now excited to capture it on film.
Nicolas is capturing fashion in cityscapes. Fashion is a big part of who he is and he finds it interesting to photograph it in the city.
Oscar is focusing on capturing his identity by shooting things he is interested in.
Anamaria is photographing the happy moments of being a senior at HSFI.
Izzy is capturing unique people in subcultures, in the goth and punk scene.
Tyler is photographing the cycles of life to show how living things experience ups and downs.
Miles is photographing happiness and how people show their happiness. He feels that people don’t know what truly makes him happy, which comes from the non-material.
Amari is photographing cityscape and landscape to broaden her photographic subjects and focus on how people interact with landscape and cityscapes.
Layla is documenting her mother. The project is allowing her to be closer to her Mom and to spend more time together.
